Cleaning and Lens Care

Step 1

RINSE YOUR SUNGLASSES WITH WATER BEFORE APPLYING OTHER SOLUTIONS.

In the case of when you are riding a bike and get a little smudge on your lenses, should not attempt to wipe them off with your jersey, instead rinse if off with water ( Non-mineral, or energy drink type ) leave it till back home and do proper cleaning, unless you have a proper micro-fibre cloth. Do not attempt to dip it in warm or hot water.

Step 2

APPLYING MILD DILUTED SOAP

After rinsing through you can then apply mild hand soap, best is to slightly dilute it off before applying it on the lens surface. Gentle rub through all the lens surface, and also the rubbery grip as those are usually very dirty after a long day ride. Do not use any strong chemical solutions such as alcohol to wipe it, or wet-wipes to clean your sunglasses.

Step 3

RISE THROUGH AGAIN THOROUGHLY

Make sure to fully rinse off any solutions. Or in the case if you are lazy, then you can just fully submerge it in a bucket of clean tap water.

Step 4

NEVER LEAVE IT TO AIR DRY

You should never get lazy to just skip this step. ALWAYS make sure to wipe it dry thoroughly after rinse. Water droplets that are left to dry out on the lens surface wil tend to form water-bubble marks and that’s when the coating will be compromised.
